On the terrace of Venetsanos Winery, the Emerald Events team creates magic. And when it comes to the choice of couture, the gown leads and the setting listens. Every team of professional kept the ceremony to essentials, and elevated them: a sculptural floral arch of garden roses and seasonal greens, Bentwood-style chairs in warm wood, and the Aegean as the single horizon line. Negative space does the work. Guests see the silhouette clearly, the sleeves in motion, and the open back framed by the Greek light.

After sunset the scene shifts from airy to glowing. A round table curls around a towering floral installation with three crystal chandeliers suspended above it. Crystal stemware, blush and ivory blooms, rose-gold flatware, and candlelight create a soft shimmer. The art de la table is quietly luxurious. In a unique location of Western Australia, called Broome, we found a little paradise. Vast red sand is swept by the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, and as the sun sets, everything is transformed by the warmest colors. It’s the kind of place where a boho beach wedding dress doesn’t just fit in—it becomes part of the landscape.

For this coastal dream, we chose a pure white crop top wedding dress, our beloved Hera by Atelier Zolotas. Its clean lines and handcrafted details allowed us to expand the color palette in the most joyful way.

Colorful blooms in the bridal bouquet and floral crown, plus a delicate floral ankle band, created the perfect contrast under a long handmade veil. And just to be sure the sky joined the celebration, we let off a turquoise balloon that floated above the Indian Ocean.

How the “Vayia” Hippie Chic Boho Wedding Dress Was Born

The Vayia dress can now be found among the other designs of the Hellenic Vintage Origin collection… But before it was launched along with the other handmade gowns, would you like to hear the story of how this hippie chic boho wedding dress first came to life?

A Tribal Venue in the Heart of Athens

If you are from Athens, you might have attended one of the “ritual parties” at Coyoacan, in the heart of the city center. Its ethnic, tribal-inspired venue can become pretty inspiring and, in our case, it provided the perfect background for a hippie chic, boho bridal editorial.

Taking the Hippie Chic Boho Bridal Look Further

Since we wanted to take the hippie chic boho bridal look as far as possible, a stunning headpiece was created by Maximos Zantzos, with dehydrated roses and our trademark cotton laces.

This aesthetic was carried through to the tribal wedding cake by Mokpo, the macramé details and the impressive art de la table by White Lilac. The golden glow of the ALLOVER jewelry collection by Athina Oikonomakou completed the hippie accessorizing, and Elizabeth Malafeeva was chosen for her exotic beauty. Needless to say, the groom was styled by the Gentlemen Experts of Atelier Zolotas.

Contrary to the normal practice of featuring an existing gown from the Zolotas collection at a styled shoot, this time the designer VG Zolotas decided to create a brand new wedding dress from scratch, one that would perfectly express our mood board and the free-spirited, hippie chic boho vision.
