About Me
I am currently a Lecturer (Software Engineering) at the School of Computer Science and Mathematics of Liverpool John Moores University. Previously, I worked as a Research Fellow at the Computer Science Department, University of York on many EU and UK funded projects including SESAME, TYPHON and SECT-AIR. My research interests are on (Flexible) Model-Driven Engineering, Systems Safety, Big Data Analytics and Requirements Engineering.
In 2011, I started my EngD project titled "Type Inference in Flexible Model-driven Engineering" supervised by Prof. Richard Paige and Dr. Nicholas Matragkas. In 2010, I attended the MSc course in Software Engineering from the University of York and I graduated with a distinction degree. I hold a 4yrs-BSc (ptychion) in Applied Informatics from the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece.
I was born in Orestiada, Greece, a small town next to the Greek-Turkish-Bulgarian borders. I like watching football (soccer), playing Microsoft's Flight Simulator and cooking. I am a big fan of PAOK F.C. and Liverpool FC.
